Carrie delivered a stunning photoshoot. She was not a professional model or actress, and that did not matter. My job was challenging my subject to be completely themselves.
Portraiture is often about effective lighting and backdrops. None of the more ‘interesting’ backdrops we choose worked because our model was studding on her own. We had her face the light, and the rest speaks for itself.
